Transmission-grid metering integration

The problem

Swedegas needed metering data from transmission-grid flow computers collected reliably into central systems.

What Henrik owned

Henrik delivered the integration work package, including protocol implementation, collection modelling, device setup and modem delivery.

Work delivered

• Implemented a proprietary Modbus dialect for flow-computer metering data
• Configured flow computers for the required metering setup
• Restructured collection so one physical device with up to four metering lines could be modelled as separate logical devices
• Delivered new 4G modem connectivity

Technical approach

The collection model separated metering lines from physical devices, allowing the transmission-grid data to match operational measurement structures while still communicating with the installed flow computers.
